Brazil's Top iOS Music & Podcast Apps Perform in Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, Brazil's iOS platform saw significant activity among the top Music and Podcasts applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of these apps in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

YouTube Music experienced a steady revenue increase throughout the quarter, peaking at $73K in late February before settling at $70K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 38K in the second week of January, but ended the quarter with 36K. Weekly active users showed resilience, starting at 2.56M and climbing to 2.63M by the quarter's end.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast also saw a growth in revenue, starting at $43K and reaching its peak at $50K in early March. Downloads hit a high of 16K in mid-January, though they dipped to 14K in late March. The app's weekly active users hovered around half a million, with a slight increase from 539K to 510K over the quarter.

TikTok Music had a more volatile revenue trend, with an initial $15K, a spike to $19K in early February, and a dip to $8K by the end of March. Downloads remained under 3K for the entire quarter, and active users ranged between 44K and 48K, ending the period with a slight decline.

TIDAL Music: HiFi Sound showed mixed revenue results, starting at $6K, peaking at $7K mid-quarter, and then closing at a similar $6K. Downloads saw a surge to 2K in early February but eventually settled down to 818 by the quarter's end. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 26K and finishing at 27K.

Lastly, eSound - MP3 Music Player App had a varied revenue journey, with an initial $6K, a surge to $6.3K in early March, and a slight decrease to $5K towards the close of the quarter. Downloads saw a significant jump to 45K in early February, later stabilizing to 27K. The app's weekly active users showed an increasing trend from 244K to 267K.
